CHRISTMAS AT MIGI'S CORNER

Christmas is all about remembering the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and the giving of oneself to those who are need.

Last December 22, 1999, MIGI'S CORNER together with the support of Jollibee, brought joy and laughter to the many children confined at the Philippine Heart Center and Philippine Children's Medical Center (PCMC).

At 10:00 a.m., a puppet show was staged by members of the Christ's Commission Fellowship (CCF) lead by Dr. Jay Encarnacion and his group of highly talented performers and puppeteers. The show was interspersed with lovely music and song performed by a Christian group called WINDSONG.

Their wonderful voices filled and echoed throughput the halls and pediatric ward of the Heart Center. The program ended with a gift-giving activity with Jollibee himself handing out gifts that were donations from countless people who support MIGI'S CORNER.

Lunch for the pediatric patients, the nursing staff and performers was graciously provided for by Jollibee. In the afternoon, the same activities, minus the puppet show, were also conducted at the PCMC.

WINDSONG, performed a number of songs and showcased their talent with indigenous instruments which the children enjoyed tinkering with! HETTY, the little girl mascot from JOLLIBEE was the afternoon's special guest and merienda was once again generously provided by JOLLIBEE.
